Silverwood/Mothers Day

Mother's Day weekend we took a trip to Silverwood with Grandma Judy and Chad, Liz, Emie and Tater.

We had ran, sun, wind....in that order all day.  We still had a great time and the kids thought it was great!  Turns out that we have a couple little roller coaster crazies in the family!  It was a fun weekend.  Here are a few pics of the weekend fun!   Maybe next time we'll go when we don't have to wear coats!
All the kiddos!

Jackson on his first roller coaster "The Tiny Toot Coaster"

Garfield!  (luckily our kids had just watched the movie so they new who he was).

So excited for the train ride!   Until the robbery and then it wasn't so fun for him or Tater....they may never get on a train again.

Of course, what is a trip to the city without a stop at Kohls.  The girls picked out jammies with matching doll jammies.

SOCCER!

We are officially a soccer family now!    Both girls are in soccer and had their first games of the season on Sunday!

Hannah's Birthday

Our 2nd baby turned 5on April 10th!  I can't believe it has been 5 years since she was born!  They grow up and change before you can blink. It seems like just yesterday she was coming home from the hospital.  She was barely crawling when we moved to Montana!  Now she is almost in Kindergarten and playing soccer! She is such a sweet easy going kid and we love her so much!   Happy 5th birthday Hannah!

We celebrated Hannah's birthday on April 3rd, since we were going to be gone for her birthday.  She chose to have a Tangled Birthday.  She also chose to have a swimming party.  She told me the day after her party that "That was my best birthday party ever!"  So I guess that means it was a success!

Happy Birthday Hannah!  We love you!

Spring Break

Dan and I took Friday of Spring Break off so we could take the kids on a weekend trip to Fairmont.  We had a great time spending the weekend with each other and doing lots of swimming!  The kids had tons of fun, both girls have turned into little fish.  Swimming lessons are paying off!  Yay!   Jackson prefers to just stay where he can touch, he would rather not wear anykind of floaty device!  We just have to stay close at all times to him.

We woke up to this lovely "Spring" in Montana weather on Friday.  Just lovely.  Good thing we were at a pool so we could at least pretend to be somewhere warm!

Having breakfast in the hotel room.  We tried to "eat in" as much as we could.  There are not a lot of choices close to Fairmont to eat!

Kalei's new favorite thing to do!  I think she is going to be a water park freak!

Having dinner with friends who came to spend the day with us!

It was a fun and relaxing trip!  Nice to get away from the routine of things and spend time with just our family!  Now if spring would really get here we might get excited about camping and all the fun things we can do in the nice weather.  We are now in full Soccer mode as both girls get to play this spring!  We are so excited!

Is it spring yet?

Spring Break....yes.
Spring weather.....sort of..I guess.

Tired of the cold.  We really need to get outside.  Everyone keeps getting sick becuase we can't get outside enough.  I promise when it starts to get nice and stay nice we will stay outside in the fresh air for HOURS!

This winter we got the girls both skiing without the harness!  Yay.  We purchased season passes at our favorite family ski hill, so next year we will ski a lot and hopefully the girls will be pro's by the end.  Jackson will hopefully just be standing on his own feet next year. :)

We are looking forward to a little end of Spring Break trip(which just happens to be mine and Hannah's birthday weekend) to Fairmont Hot Springs.  We are going with some friends and it is going to be a nice little weekend get away.

The girls finished swimming lessons and  they both start Soccer next week.  This will be our first year with two kids in Soccer so I have a feeling we could be spending some hours at the soccer field each Sunday for the next 2 months.  I am looking forward to it!   Before we know it, it will be summer and time for lots of camping!

Blah blah blah

I was going to update with some pictures but the bloggity blog tried uploading the pictures for a good half hour.   This would be the reason I don't update very often.   Facebook is just that much easier.  I'll try again later.  But really, does anyone ever read this anyway?

Too funny not to post.

Jackson------"Mommy, I have to go poop"

Me------"Ok, lets go"

We run into the bathroom and 20 minutes later.(he is a typical man and the pooping process takes time) He always wants "privacy" so we can never stand in there with him.

Jackson----"MOMMY, I'M DONE!"

I walk into the bathroom and he is standing beside the toilet pointing down into it.

Jackson-----"Look Mommy, A dinosaur tail".

Me-----"Hee hee yep that looks like a dinosaur tail".

The kid cracks me up!

Catching up.....

Although there hasn't been much exciting to catch up on.    I tried posting Christmas and New Years photo's a while ago but the dang bloggity blog wasn't cooperating so I gave up.   I've just been lazy.  So I'll try again.  This winter weather has just been nuts so we've stayed pretty close to home.    I'll attempt to post a few pics of the last month.   We've really just been enjoying being home together!

Our first snowman for the winter. When they were done building him they held hands and danced around him singing Frosty the Snowman.

Our yard is flat.  Our neighbor plows the street with his 4-wheeler and we crafted a sledding hill.  Good enough for the little kids!

Jackson is officially potty trained, with NO help from Mom and Dad. Yep, just woke up one morning and said "I want to wear my big boys".  We've had a few minor incidents but mostly we are in the clear!  Hooray!  I never expected potty training a boy to be that easy, especially a 2 1/2 year old! Now none of his pants fit.

Dan came hone with mustache disguises for the kids one day.

We've taken the whole family skiing.  Decided it's not a 2 person job.  Any takers?

We had a great Christmas!

Kalei starts Itty Bitty Basketball this week.  Swimming lessons are on the agenda too, hopefully.  Spring will bring Soccer.  We'll soon be busy busy again!
